Here at Mingle Pups our number one goal is to provide your beloved furry family members with a safe, fun and tail-wagging time! More enriching than dog walking, safer and more personal than a daycare. Mingle Pups is the best alternative to cramped kennels, large and unsafe playgroups, and mundane walks. With Mingle Pups your dog will enjoy a complimentary car ride in the Mingle Mobile to a private fenced-in field accompanied by several of their favorite puppy pals! An intimate supervised playgroup will ensure your doggy gets the exercise, fresh air, socialization and love that they require!
How it Works
Mingle Pups offers doggy playgroups to furry residents of Boynton Beach, transportation included! Open Monday-Friday, you can choose to enroll your pup(s) in one or both of our 2 intimate daily playgroups. Your pup can join a morning or afternoon playgroup, or attend both and play all day! About the Owner
Hey puppy parents! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Selena Montoya and I am the founder and owner of Mingle Pups, Boynton Beach’s premier pet taxi & playgroup service. I created Mingle Pups for many reasons. One obvious reason being that dogs are my foremost and greatest passion in life.
After working in several different branches of the pet industry over 7 years ranging from daycares to vet clinics to playgroups to pet taxi to your everyday dog sitting, I believe it’s safe to say I’ve had my fair share of experience in the field. The most valuable thing that has come of my many doggy escapades (besides the extraordinary opportunity to enjoy quality time with man’s best friends) is the recognition of what I liked about these businesses, and the things that I didn’t like.
My favorite job I’ve ever had was one in Eastern Massachusetts. It was at an amazing company called Doggy Dates, which is what my business is inspired by. It was a great job for me, as it was extremely therapeutic to spend time with dogs in a small group setting in the outdoors. But what I truly loved about Doggy Dates was the pure joy, growth and undeniable comfort the dogs felt during the playgroups.
I broke up a single scuffle in my two years of employment there, while at other daycares with playgroups of 40+ dogs, fights were a daily occurrence. This is because there weren’t nearly enough eyes on the excess of animals to note their emotions, behavior or reactions to ensure their safety and comfort during the playgroup. Tens of different interactions were happening in every corner all at once which were impossible to follow with the small staff the businesses provided, (usually 1-2 people). It was not at all safe, sanitary or productive for the dogs, I observed.
That is where Mingle Pups comes in. I wanted to create a fun, safe and accessible service for the loving dog parent who unfortunately might not have the ability to be with their pups 24/7/365. And that’s exactly what I did! Mingle Pups is a local and personal playgroup service provided for Boynton Beach pups, transportation included!
Dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities are welcome to hop in my dog-friendly ride and join one of our intimate 3-6 dog playgroups that I will personally supervise. Like I said, I love dogs more than anything else in the world and your pup is no different from the rest. I promise to love, watch, and care for your baby as if they were my own. As I spend more time with your pups and get to know them better I will learn which dogs will be play buddies for life, and which ones would be better kept apart.
I have watched countless dogs exercise, learn and grow through playgroups and it is my favorite thing to see. Dogs supply us all with endless amounts of joy and it is our job to reciprocate that love and take care of them the best we can! That is my vow to all our valued customers. I hope that Mingle Pups brings as much happiness to you and your pups as it does to me.
